TL;DR: I have an offer, that was expired yesterday, and the recruiter is pushing me (email just 1 hour ago). What are some strategies to negotiate to have a two-week deadline?
Long story: I got an offer with some complicated conditions, so I would like to have more offers to consider. I have a phone screen with another company next week. If I pass, there will be an on-site interview, so the process will probably take two weeks. How can I tell the recruiter to wait for me for two weeks? Should I tell them the truth?
