We are travelling through Europe during December and currently we need to travel intercontinental on the 31st of December. We need to get from the Munich region to Vienna. Assuming we can get to the city, would public transport be operational during this period? In some countries public transport is shut down during the festive season and we would rather move our travel dates if this is the case.
