Need to prepare for work exam - difficulty with rote memorisation?

As the title says .... I have a professional qualification to gain for work.
It is a 3 hour multiple choice question.
This is my idea of hell, as I really find rote memorisation difficult.
Can anyone give any tips, I have 4 days to prepare for it... if it makes any difference I was classed as the MBTI INTJ personality which somewhat explains why I find it difficult where most others wouldn't.
