I send this email to our network admin, who didn't respond and appeared confused about what I was asking when I talked to him over chat.

Am I being clear in this message? Or do I need to clarify my ask:

Hey Manny,

Good morning! I’ve found out that the subnet that you gave doesn’t work to limit AWS access to our network. Instead it just denies access regardless.

That’s because it’s reaching out to the internet to communicate with AWS. So what we need is an external IP range that we can use to limit access to the AWS accounts.
I’ve already tested this by limiting the access to my external IP address: xxx.xx.xx.xx/32

That allows me to access our AWS account from the office, but denies when I run the same command from an AWS server not on our network. That’s exactly what we want!

So what would be the equivalent external IP of this IP range: 10.0.0.0/8 ?
