The final row is much too long to fit inside the text block defined by the amsart
document class; you'll have to break that expression across lines. Once the need for that line break is established, aligning the other rows in the way you've laid out in your query has little appeal. The upshot: Just use a simple align*
environment and be done with it.
Note also that the parentheses produced by left
and right
are too large, typographically speaking. Use bigg
-sized parentheses instead.
