I am currently working in a European multinational company as an IT Systems Engineer, mostly working on deploying VM's on VMWare and working on HPE ProLiant servers. It's been 2 years now I've been doing this and I feel work is becoming slightly monotonous, we already have experienced VMWare guys and Azure guys so making a move there is not an option. So I was wondering of making a move up as an IT Project Manager in the Client Team Department (Team that handles Client machines, SCCM, Office 365 etc.). I am just willing to know what are pros and cons of making this move and if it is worth it? Also kindly suggest what other roles in the IT Infrastructure are of high demand at the moment?
