I can't understand whether I am going good or bad in life due to Coding

I am a Junior Software Developer and I work in a Software Company which consists of some 30-40 Employees. I am very interested towards coding. In my office still they are using the old asp.net(Believe me they do :)). So I am just interested towards the hot buzz outside(Angular and NodeJS), so I started learning Angular and NodeJS. Now I am in such a situation that I cannot live without my laptop even for a day. From the past 8 months I have been trying to move the whole project I did in asp.net to Angular and NodeJS and I succeeded(Just for my practice) and it ended up in such a situation that I can't live without Coding.
I hate going to parties, roam with friends nothing. Just I am quite interested only towards the coding. Is it a bad sign??? or what's going wrong with me??
Everyone scolds me you are such a boring person but I don't care their words because I find my happiness only in Coding but just asking for some opinion from you guys :) Happy Coding
