I work in a big software company as entry level employee. In my team, there are two seniors. As of now, work is not very interesting (mainly documentation). As usual, my team does not like documentation. While I do not like it a lot, I don't hate it either. But I am a perfectionist and like to do whatever is given to me. I pay a lot of attention to it and try to make it better. But my team usually wants to just complete the work somehow. They like to go home after their shift is done, while I want to work more. I am better than seniors at few things.

But if I am working late, manager could ask them to work late too. So they don't like my efforts. As I am just an entry level, I think if I work good, I could get better work to do.

It has happened a lot before in college and internships when my colleagues and friends do not like me for putting too much effort, which results in me being perceived better than other teammates to superiors.

I am not very social.

Is there a way to motivate teammates to do extra? Should I motivate them? What should I do? Also, do I lack the team spirit? If yes, how should I improve myself?
