I guess I am looking for clarification. I do have a nice boss who means well BUT, is so very forgetful. I'm not sure if it's ADD or ADHD. I work in a pool. I teach water classes. I'll only do a few points. I normally have to go to her with everything but this year, I thought she should come to me on things since she is my boss. Well for one the pool is closed once a year to be cleaned for a week. I found out when the members/public did. I got so mad and she said she told me, I said no, you didn't. She said, well there are signs up everywhere. She doesn't get that it's not the point. I could have scheduled a vacation or planned to sub at another location or offered land based classes to my retired students. This is the kicker. There is a lifeguard when he works the early shift, he always falls asleep in the chair. I, my coworkers and members have brought it to her attention. She has done nothing. That is normally grounds for dismissal. Come to find out the boy is a family friend. Well, someone could get mad and sue, especially if there would be an accident. If an investigation come, I mean so many people know and nothing was done. I as well as others could get into trouble. I feel like an accessory to a crime. I could go on about other things but I feel like as long as she is there, I can't work there. Upper mgmt has done nothing. Thanks for any input!

Is there a question here? You are unhappy. You should probably be looking for a new job. Is there something else you need to know?
