Lately I've heard something disturbing me in business meeting. What someone said was:
never say the truth to anyone, because sooner or later they will start to remake your mind. Never let somebody use yourself, because you have to use them.

I was thinking what's your opinion on that? Is there anybody who'll relate it to specific life situation?

Lying to clients is a good way to stop them trusting you.

Of course, we don't know the context of what you heard in that meeting, but by and large, honesty is more respected than covering things up with lies.
