How to correctly chose the future career path for a junior developer?

i'm a junior developer, and i have decided to go on a quest to join Microsoft company. Currently I need some data to make an informed decision on the career path that i'll follow.



I'm passionate about three things:



  • Web development (front and back, and got experience using Asp.net core, angular, and such frameworks)

  • Software engineering (I find designing software architectures and writing better code a fascinating subject)

  • Machine learning & data mining (found that my mind can excel in this field)

based on the future and evolution of the field of computer science, and the vision, goals and future of Microsoft itself, can you give me any set of information, thoughts or data that would allow me to decide the path that should be the center of my attention for the upcoming years?
