So I've got an offer from Fidelity/E-trade/AXA, the financial service jobs are basically all the same: get the series 6 or 7 and the 63 licenses, be on the phone and answer easy questions and or execute trades for people.

Where does this kind of job lead though? I asked the various interviewers and they always say "its flexible".

Please edit the question to limit it to a specific problem with enough detail to identify an adequate answer. Avoid asking multiple distinct questions at once. See the How to Ask page for help clarifying this question. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.
