I said in an an interview (and on my resume) that I'd be graduating this year, but it will be next year. I took some time off and never changed my resume. How does that show up on on an education verification? Will they find out?

did you apply for a "summer job" or a full-time, I've-graduated job? Will you still be able to take the job you interviewed for?

Will this job require you to have completed your degree before hiring you?

This isn't clear. When would a new job start? If you start a job while still attending college, you'd have to assume they would notice...

So you want to know if your lie or mistake will be discovered? Probably so.
