I am a CS student, our professor gave an assignment that each group of our class should watch at least 5 movies based on artificial intelligence, then discuss and share with the whole class. Can someone help me with searching of the movies about AI?

I'll add other movies:
Her, the AI part (movie spoiler):
The bot can define a user's profile just by hear his short story, and "act" based on user's profile
Ex Machina the AI part (movie spoiler):
The bot can express her feelings, and make you trust their feeling
Eagle Eye, the AI part (movie spoiler):
The bot can compile a lot of information for its purpose
Big Hero 6, the AI part (movie spoiler):
Baymax is a very good example of a very complex expert system, he has a "knowledge chip" and a very smart way to diagnose people

Wall-E is a bad example for a movie about artificial Intelligence. Because the film was created with AI techniques as well. To be more specific, the MASSIVE software was used, which is a multi-agent framework for crowd simulation which includes semi-automatic behavior control.

The Machine, starring Caity Lotz and Toby Stephens. Which came out a year before Ex Machinae and is superior in every way, save budget.
If you want something truly old but a milestone, check out Wargames. That will likely get you some points for digging back into history on the subject.
Someone already mentioned 2001, which is excellent. But to truly appreciate the nuance of Hal 9000, you need to also see the sequel, or at least read a summary as it shows WHY Hal 9000 behaved the way it did. (In short, contradictory and irreconcilable instructions).
Alien (the original, first one, which contains both humanistic and non-humanistic AI).
Her. Which is either sadly romantic or creepy as all Hell, depending on how you interpret it.

A great movie to watch would be A.I artificial intelligence, a sort of modern retelling of pinoccio.
Another good AI movie where the main character is a robot would be bicentennial man, based on Isaac Asimovs the positronic man
