Was I ambitious in my counter offer - Im wooried please advise

I received an offer from one well established Company which I admire most. This offer requires relocation to another Province and the offer is not pleasing much compared to my own package and no indication mentioned for relocation assistance.
I write them a letter which I sent this morning being polite though appreciating the opportunity and thereafter I went to the point of asking them for room of improvement of package referring to my current package, years of experience in the field and qualifications obtained. I mentioned that the increase of 10 - 20% would be appreciated in the request, (not sure though if I did not hit hard). I also asked them if there is any assistance they can provide for relocation.
I have not received feedback as yet and Im panicking already, I just made a follow up to the person I sent email to jst to check if she received my email and she said yes, she has forwarded email to the Compensation office. How long should I wait?..was my approach reasonable?..please advise..Im panicking I love the Company bt the current offer is not convincing.
