My girlfriend has no idea of what she wants to do in life. I have checked countless websites in search for help and I think that what she needs the most is some suggestions on some possible careers. So I have searched for online tests and so far all I have found either costs money (which I'm sure her parents will not want to spend) or seems useless. So I would like to ask if you know any free test that would yield reliable results. Or if not, what would you recommend that she did in order to find her calling?

Many good questions generate some degree of opinion based on expert experience, but answers to this question will tend to be almost entirely based on opinions, rather than facts, references, or specific expertise. If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

My first thought was for this question: workplace.stackexchange.com/q/60138/17890 -- (1) Why are you asking the question, and not the one who needs a job? (2) Why would her parents pay for things and not her? Is she a minor?

Search for a list of job openings in various fields and ask her which ones seem interesting.

If she has the luxury of choosing for want and not necessity, then attend college and get a degree. Choose a path you are passionate about and enjoy or you will get off track. Once you start, follow through and your goals will show more clearly as you continue. Even if what you started to get educated for isn't what you want, all the prerequisites will follow you. The key is education and get it now or soon as you can. Living comfortably is generally the outcome of a good education once you have applied it accurately.
