Are there any community-driven non-compete templates that are OSS? Something similar to Github's IP Agreement for non-competes would be ideal.

There's a non-compete that I was asked to sign, and I am not excited by some of the terms. I would like to counter with a recognized template that provides some of the coverage that is sought by the business while still reasonable for future employment endeavors. Any suggestions?

  • You'd do well to list what the specific clauses are that you're unhappy with, we can then provide some guidance as to whether they're normal or not.
