My old employer wants me back but I've been in my current position for less than a year. Have you been in a similar situation?

an old employer wants to hire me back but I'm conflicted about leaving my current job because I've only been here for 10 months.
Have you been in a similar situation? Any advice?

The thing is, do you want to go back? What do you gain by going back to your old employer? Why did you leave them in first place, sure the things that made you leave are no longer an issue? That being said, IMHO 6 months is the minimum one "should" stay on a job in order to be able to include it on CVs without being seen as unstable or job-hopper... but it also depends on your former positions and the times you've been on them (having several, 6 month jobs in a row would also raise suspicions)
